Designing your dressing area
Although our design team have years of knowledge and experience in designing dressing areas which they will happily share with you. It is very beneficial for you to review some factors before you meet with them. Check out this list of things to consider
- Will the area be just for you or will you share it with your partner or family?
- Are you planning on just storing and getting dressed in the room or will you do your hair and makeup too?
- If you’re planning on more than getting dressed, will you need space to store your makeup and hair items? Will you require plugs, a seat and a small face size mirror as well as full length mirror?
- Do you need a dedicated area for storing your jewellery?
- Is there anything you would like to display such as a handbag collection or an array of shoes?
- What style do you like modern, minimalist, traditional or transitional, a mix of classic and modern furniture designs?
Once you have decided on these points it is a good time to meet with our design team.
Our design team & service
At Priest Furniture our team will combine superior quality furniture with practical storage solutions and outstanding craftsmanship. To create you a luxury dressing area made to your individual requirements. Our design team will visit your home, take measurements and discuss your needs. Provide you with suggestions around door designs, styles to suit your current décor, colours and storage combinations. Combined with options such as whether you would like smart lighting which is triggered when you open the room door or regular switch lights? Once your specifications are finalised, we will initially provide you with a sketch drawing. Once you’re happy with the sketch, we will produce a CAD drawing and colour swatches.
Manufacturing & Installation
Following your agreement of your blue-print drawing our experienced craftsman will commence the manufacture of your furniture for your dressing area. During the manufacture we will send you images and you’re welcome to visit our workshop to see how things are progressing. The manufacturing process takes between 8 -12 weeks. Once your dressing area units are finished, we will arrange a suitable time to deliver and for our skilled fitters to complete your install.
