Idea inspiration
Many clients contact us to replicate something they have found online, seen in a showroom or at someone’s house or a venue they visited. Sometimes it is a complete replica or client’s find a piece that gives them inspiration. They want something similar but with their own take on it, to create something completely individual for them.
At Priest Furniture, our in-house craftsmen have completed many unusual and sometimes quirky furniture pieces for people’s home, a commercial business or when working in partnership with interior design companies. Here are some of our favourite bespoke furniture projects and partnership furniture creations:
Danbury Ridge Wine estate
We have manufactured & installed several unique furniture projects for this magnificent local vineyard. Danbury Ridge vineyard was founded by two generations of the Bunker family in the village of Danbury, Essex. The first vines were planted in 2014 and after just a few seasons the vines were producing grapes of a quality and ripeness previously unseen in the UK. The family invited Priest Furniture to work on various projects with them fitting out not only their personal bespoke furniture but also unique items for their hospitality suite. We designed and installed several pieces for their home including wardrobes in two dressing rooms, alcove media units in their lounge and desk unit for their home office. In addition, we have designed and installed a unique media wall and hospitality wine bar in their commercial premises.
Raspberry Interior Design
Raspberry Interior Design are a local independent interior design company based in Shenfield. We have worked with them to manufacture and install many of their designs bringing their projects to life. Including cloakroom installations and bespoke furniture pieces.
Space shack Interiors London
One of a commercial clients commissioned Priest Furniture to manufacture and fit a unique solid oak office display unit specifically made to Space Shack London Interior’s design template. The style of the unit was in in keeping with the client’s quirky office decor.
Local suppliers
As well as working in partnership with local interior design companies to reproduce ideas we endeavour to source our materials from local suppliers. Such as our metal furniture fittings from Essex Artisan Ltd . Plus, our timber from Brookes Bros based in Danbury and Maldon, with other timber sites across the UK. Brooks Bros are passionate about sustainability and have a 5-year environmental strategy which is in line with Priest Furniture’s commitment to protect the environment.
Bespoke home furniture
As well as our commercial clients and partnerships we have been appointed by several clients to design, manufacture & install bespoke furniture for their homes. Some clients ask us to complete several items of furniture for different rooms across their home from wardrobes, bedroom furniture sets to media units and under stairs storage systems to a complete kitchen cupboard refurbishment. Unique furniture process
Whether it’s a for a commercial or a domestic client at Priest Furniture we regularly replicate people’s inspirations and ideas. It all starts with our client identifying something they love; Pinterest is a great resource for furniture inspiration. The idea is then discussed with our experienced design team and sometimes a home visit is required. This enables our designer to see your available space and get a feel for your style and how you live. Then our designers will discuss your options and look at matching colours should you require it.
